AZ Monster Match

It was a rather cool (read very cold) day at the BAGA woodlands and the final FT match of 2002 was a great success. This was the "1st AZ MONSTER Match" with 100 shots on a tough course with timers and a wind chill that must have been below freezing. Great turn out with 16 shooters, many traveling across state boundaries. The timers (identical to those used at the Nationals) allowed for a very comfortable pace and with their use, we were able to complete the entire course in almost the same time as we usually use for our 48-52 shot matches.

At the completion of the match, only the third place Open Division needed to be determined by a post match "shoot-off". Awards included certificates of placement and a choice of remaining prizes donated by club members. Again, congratulations to all winners and a big thanks to all the participants who made the 2nd Annual Badgerlands a great success. See you next year.
