The first match ofthe new season is now history. We had a good turnout and all scheduled matches started EXACTLY on time. We even had an additional 5th match at 2:30 to allow some pre-shooting of matches. Overall the start appears to be better than last year, but there were no runaway scores. Four (4) perfect 10's were shot, which is a bit high, but when you have the US National FT Champ shooting 3 of them, then it is a bit more understanding. Brandon did have a spring break in the warm up and so we allowed him to drop the first target and hopefully he will regroup for the next match.

For those of you concenred about getting extra matches shot in one day, take note that Dennis shot two full matches in less than 20 minutes...and they were not bad considering he had run out of air on the last five or six shots. Remember if your are shooting those extremely "pushed" Steyrs without the long tubes, your shot count is a bit lower than those shooting the mild velocities.
